Who are we ?
A FUTURE HYBRID COMPLEX FOR MONTREAL, BUILT WITH THE METRO CARS AND DEDICATED TO THE DISCOVERY OF LOCAL TALENTS
MR-63 is a non-profit organization (NPO) whose mandate is to stimulate interest in Montreal culture and the talents that make it up. Its goal is to contribute to the preservation of Montreal’s cultural identity and economy, in order to improve the situation of local talents and promote their influence abroad.
To carry out its mission, MR-63, supported by four centers of mediation: the dissemination of talents and their work, multidisciplinary cultural learning, awareness of local consumption and cooperation between Montreal stakeholders.
To ensure its attractiveness, MR-63 stands out from a hybrid building that gives a second life to the old Montreal metro cars and will raise the standards of sustainable development. This monument will open in 2020 and plan to become an iconic point of interest in the city.
Within the MR-63, the public will experience a multidisciplinary experience in art, design and gastronomy, offered by local talents. The space will consist of a food counter, art galleries, a boutique and a stage, awarded by calls for projects to the talents and civic initiatives of Montreal.
